OVERVIEW

Dr. Linda Schott served most recently as the president of Southern Oregon University. Prior to that, she served as the president of the University of Maine at Presque Isle. A transformational and collaborative leader, Dr. Schott led the University of Maine at Presque Isle as it transitioned to offering proficiency-based education to all students. At Southern Oregon University, she led the development of a new vision, mission, and strategic plan that positioned SOU as a “University for the Future.” She helped both universities reach new markets, especially adult learners; develop stronger partnerships with PK-12 and the workforce; and enhance campus sustainability.
